Android Device Manager is a Google’s official and easy-to-use tool to track your Android phone or tablet.
The best thing about it is that you don’t need to install an app to be able to track your devices. Also, it is a free tool that is mandatory for all android users to activate on their device should in case the unexpected happen. By default it is activated on most of the device. All you need is a working Google Account that has been associated with your device, location access must be turned on and connected to the internet.
Android Device Manager can remotely:
– Make the smartphone to ring for 5 minutes
– Lock the phone completely / change the phone password completely and send a message to the notification screen.
– Wipe all the data and information stored on the phone.
To activate this on your Android, go to settings then click on Security
then Device Administrators, finally enable Android Device Manager if not enabled.
